If you are dealing with ongoing pain or health stress, you are not alone

You may notice:

  • Your body does not feel reliable

  • You are constantly aware of symptoms or discomfort

  • You feel frustrated trying to manage or control it

  • You worry about what it means or what might happen next

  • Your life has started to shrink around the problem

You are not broken.

You are responding to something that is genuinely difficult.

Why pain and health stress become overwhelming

When something is happening in your body, it makes sense to try to:

  • monitor it closely

  • figure it out

  • avoid making it worse

  • control how you feel

These responses are natural.

Over time, they can lead to:

  • increased tension

  • more focus on symptoms

  • less engagement in life

  • a growing sense of limitation

The problem is not just the pain.

It is the pattern that develops around it.

A different way to relate to pain and health stress

We use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you:

  • reduce the struggle with symptoms

  • shift your relationship to discomfort

  • reconnect with what matters in your life

  • take meaningful action even when symptoms are present

The goal is not to eliminate pain completely.

The goal is to help you build a life that is not defined by it.

What therapy looks like

This is structured, skill-based therapy.

We work to:

  • understanding the patterns that increase suffering

  • building skills to respond differently to discomfort

  • reducing the impact of constant monitoring and control

  • gradually expanding what your life includes again

This work is practical, not abstract.

It is about helping you live more fully, even in the presence of difficulty.

We use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as the foundation for this work.  → Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
